The HANDMAKER Foundation - an opportunity to make a difference
A gift to the Handmaker Foundation makes a
tangible difference every single day for many of Tucson’s neediest senior
citizens.
Gifts to the Handmaker Foundation allow Handmaker Jewish Services for the
Aging to provide a significant amount of charitable care to residents of Handmaker's skilled nursing programs who have outlived their financial
resources. In 2008, the shortfall to provide this care totaled about
$272,000. The annual support of our donors also helps Handmaker launch and
sustain innovative and compassionate programming for its residents.
As a non-profit, non-sectarian institution, Handmaker's mission is to
promote the spiritual, emotional and intellectual well-being of the people
in our care. We are committed to improving the quality of life by making
sure our residents enjoy their independence and dignity as part of a
supportive community.

There are many ways to make the Handmaker Foundation part of your
annual charitable giving and estate planning.
Opportunities abound to have one's name connected to the proud history
of our magnificent facilities. What better way to establish your legacy
than by upholding the sacred commandment to honor the elderly, the parents
of us all? The Handmaker Foundation offers meaningful and tax-deductible
opportunities for giving, and for recognition of a loved one; a parent or
grandparent; spouse; or, child. In return, Handmaker Foundation can offer
enduring recognition in perpetuity.
To arrange a dedication to honor or memorialize a loved one, please
contact Hillel Levy, Handmaker Foundation’s Executive Director at

Every dollar contributed helps Handmaker provide
programs and services that support the health, individuality and dignity
of each and every elder we serve.
